RADFAC 2015 is a RADECS thematic day aiming to get an overview of on-going academic research in the field of RADiation Effects on Components and Systems.

This edition will take place at the INFN National Laboratories of Legnaro (LNL) on Thursday 26th March 2015 within the VI Scuola Nazionale (LNL National Course) "Detectors and Electronics for High Energy Physics, Astrophysics, Space and Medical applications".

We encourage PhD students as well as researchers, also participating to the LNL National Course, to present their research activities during this informal meeting that aims at providing a snapshot of research works in progress in the different domains of the RADECS (RADiation Effects on Components and Systems) community.
For PhD students, this is an unique opportunity to get a direct feedback from the community, to establish interesting contacts for scientific collaborations and their professional future.
Abstracts and oral presentations are in English.
The time for the oral presentation is up to 20 minutes including discussion.

-Basic mechanisms of radiation effects in electronic and optical materials
-Space, atmospheric and terrestrial environments
-Radiation effects on electronic and photonic devices, circuits, systems and detectors
-Radiation effects on sensors and emerging devices
-Technology and design hardening
-Radiation hardness assurance
-Irradiation facilities and testing
